A share savings is the first account we open when you join as a member. It’s the key that unlocks all of the benefits of the membership to Vanderbilt University Credit Union (VUCU). As a not-for-profit cooperative, each member owns an equal share of the credit union. After paying a one-time membership fee 25¢, in order to qualify for membership, you must maintain a balance of $25.00. This $25.00 is returned to you if you resign your membership to the credit union.
